Happy New Year! Just wanted to give you a small update in case you’ve been wondering about Epic. I decided to name him Kenzo (it means strong&healthy and can also mean intelligent/wise and I thought that was fitting for a Coolie).
As far as how Kenzo is doing, he is doing awesome! He is far more well behaved than I could have expected and is such a sweet, loving dog. Due to the weather our car ride home from Ontario last week ended up taking 12 hours and while it drove me (and my mom) absolutely insane, Kenzo was calm and behaved the whole ride with almost no crying and no messes. I was shocked. And he has been nothing but a joy since we got home. He LOVES playing with my 4 month old kitten endlessly and they have the sweetest interactions. I’ll share some videos of that soon on my Facebook.
I know it says it on your website but it’s really true that everyone who meets a Coolie loves them. I haven’t met a person yet who saw Kenzo and didnt immediately adore him. He’s really such a wonderful pup to have in my life and I appreciate everything you did raising him, thank you!
As you’ve seen I made a Facebook with hopes of keeping you updated on Kenzo and to keep in contact with you into the future as I’m almost positive I would love another coolie from you some time in the next few years. Thank you for everything you’ve done, talk to you soon.

Just a note to say Merry Christmas and let you know that at 2 years old our Callie is still exceeding expectations. I know I’m preaching to the choir but I’m sure you don’t mind hearing it. Among other things, Callie’s grasp of language is almost unbelievable. She remembers people’s names almost after one repeat (this makes her a lot of friends). This combined with her drive to please makes all other dogs in our circle look like idiots (this I would only say to a Koolie owner). Whispered commands at 100 yards away get an instant reaction. She will work till her legs fall off if you ask. Our vet’s comment is “she must be an athlete”. Her resting heart rate is incredible. At 2 Callie continues to learn and improve as a working dog and a family pet. One feature our family finds particularly endearing is Callie’s attempts to speak “human”. She mumbles away, especially in the morning, explaining what a great day she has planned for us all. She is beautiful to look at but her brain makes the dog outstanding.
So I’ll quit bragging before anyone gets sick. Hopefully my comments encourage you to keep breeding these dogs. They are superbly under rated. I am a fan for life. Thank you.

She is the perfect dog for David… well for us and for our pack and she couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. David is in love and she follows him around like a little duckling. She is the perfect mixture of spunk and calmness and she is perfect for my pack. All have accepted her but my youngest male… which is not a surprise…. he takes a VERY long time to warm up and I have begged David not to rush him.
We will obviously stay in touch and keep you up to date on this little angels journey. You changed a man’s life with this little dog.
